ABOUT OUR LAWN, TREE AND HEDGE CARE

At Turner Land Care in Marlborough, we are specialists in providing reliable, professional and safe services to domestic and corporate customers alike, ranging from small garden tasks to clearing power lines and telephone masts of invasive growth. See our projects for examples of the work we do.

Trained and equipped

All of our operatives are fully trained and certified and we carry public liability insurance and employers’ liability. We have a wide range of equipment to handle all tasks from the smallest hedge trimming to cutting, felling and recycling the largest of trees. Our high access equipment is capable of reaching the most difficult jobs.

Qualifications

All our members of staff are fully qualified for the task they are employed to undertake. We have a very extensive qualification range across the team that includes:

NPTC Arboriculture
NPTC Pesticides/spraying
NPTC electrical arboriculture
NPTC chain saw competence and related operation
Utility Arboriculture – surveying
First aid

Health and safety

Turner Land Care recognises the importance of health and safety at work to help protect our staff, employees, the general public and property.
The steps we take help keep risk to an absolute minimum:

Risk assessments are recorded for each operation to identify potential hazards. This enables us to take positive steps to reduce risk and produce a ‘safe system of work’
All climbing and rigging equipment is regularly inspected and records kept conforming to the ‘Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998’. (LOLER). All our modern equipment is maintained to the highest standards
Turner Land Care is fully insured with public/products liability insurance and employers’ liability. We will happily provide a copy of the policies on request
Turner Land Care is always happy to provide a Method Statement
All staff are trained, qualified and hold relevant NPTC certificates and work to British standard 3998
We work in accordance with Working at Height Regulations 2005, and the guidelines set out by the Arboricultural Associations’ publication ‘A Guide to Good Climbing Practice’

Turner Land Care comply with iso 9001, 14001, 18001. We would be happy to provide copies of our Health and Safety or environmental certificates upon request.
